Thank you for considering a planned gift to the Community Service Society. Planned gifts are an increasingly important and popular way for donors to make significant and lasting contributions to charitable organizations.
Bequests are the easiest and most popular way to make a deferred gift to a charitable organization. Through a bequest you can give the Community Service Society a specific amount or a percentage of your estate. You may use the following language to make a bequest to CSS.
“I bequeath to the Community Service Society of New York (tax ID number 13-5562202), a nonprofit corporation of the State of New York, having its principal offices at 105 East 22nd Street, New York, NY 10010, the sum of $______ to be used by said corporation for its general purpose.”
