Celinda Lake is one of the Democratic Party's leading political strategists, serving as tactician and senior advisor to the national party committees, dozens of Democratic incumbents, and challengers at all levels of the electoral process. Celinda and her firm are known for cutting-edge research on issues including the economy, health care, the environment and education, and have worked for a number of institutions, including the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Governor's Association, The White House Project, AFL-CIO, Sierra Club, NARAL, Human Rights Campaign, EMILY's List, and the Kaiser Family Foundation. Her interviews and statistics have been quoted in the Washington Post, New York Times, and Wall Street Journal, and Celinda has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, Fox News and NPR, discussing her work and providing expert commentary.

Prior to forming Lake Research Partners, Celinda was partner and vice president at Greenberg-Lake. She served as Political Director of the Women's Campaign Fund, as the Research Director at the Institute for Social Research in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and as a Policy Analyst for the Subcommittee on Select Education. Celinda holds a master’s degree in political science and survey research from the University of Michigan, and a certificate in political science from the University of Geneva, in Switzerland. Celinda received her undergraduate degree from Smith College.

Andrew Fieldhouse
Federal Budget Policy Analyst
Economic Policy Institute

Andrew Fieldhouse joined the Economic Policy Institute in June 2010 to work on fiscal policy and progressive budget reform. Prior to joining EPI, he worked as an assistant budget analyst with the House Budget Committee. Since joining EPI, Andrew helped draft a progressive budget alternative to the proposals of the National Commission for Fiscal Responsibility and Reform and options for progressive tax reform. He has written briefing papers, analyses, op-eds, and blog posts on various budget and legislative proposals.

Andrew has provided frequent commentary on the current budget debate and the impact of fiscal policy alternatives on the economic recovery. On his Huffington Post blog, Andrew has written about the budget, health care, and tax cut issues, including “Paul Ryan's Budget: Unnecessary Pain With No Long-Term Gain,” “Job-Killing Hypocrisy,” and “Any Payroll Tax Cut Should Be Designed Not to Hurt Lower-Income Workers.” He has appeared as a guest on C-SPAN, CNBC, Fox Business News, and Reuters TV, as well as NPR affiliates. His areas of interest include federal tax and budget policy, political economy, public investment, and macroeconomics. Andrew graduated from Swarthmore College with bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science.
 
C. Nicole Mason

C. Nicole Mason has worked in advocacy and public education at the local, state and national levels with a special focus on women and underserved communities for the last 13 years. In her research and writing, she continues to investigate the intersections of race, class, gender, ethnicity, and other markers of difference and their impact on rights and public policy outcomes at the local, state, and national levels. She is a blogger for the Huffington Post and has appeared on CNN, the Laura Flanders Show, and NPR's Talk of the Nation, among other news outlets. Her writing has appeared in the Progressive, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Women's E-news, RealClearPolitics, Essence Magazine, and AlterNet.
 
Before joining the Network, Nicole served as the Director for Research and Policy Initiatives at the National Council for Research on Women where she remains a Senior Research Fellow. She is also the Founder and former Executive Director of the National Women's Alliance, a multi-issue human rights and advocacy organization focusing on the needs of women and girls of color, based in Washington, D.C. She has taught at the Institute for Policy Studies' Social Justice and Leadership School for Activists and in the Department of Political Science at Howard University.
